Jul 12, 2010 5:28 AMpretty much all of the above
Jul 12, 2010 5:57 AMboth completing the race and the vollies - they were absolutely awesome from start to finish.
Jul 12, 2010 5:59 AMI did not run and will not run this event.
Jul 12, 2010 6:00 AMGetting in touch with the true spirit of recreational racing - the importance of celebrating everyone's achievement, big or small!
Jul 12, 2010 6:21 AMI think the first three were all incredible experiences. The Volunteers did an amazing job.
Jul 12, 2010 7:35 AMOvercoming injuries during training and cramping quads during the race to be able to still complete the race.
Jul 12, 2010 12:41 PMAll of the above
Jul 12, 2010 2:00 PMCompleting the race AND being able to walk afterwards was my best accomplishment. But the volunteer support and interaction is what truly makes this race great.
Jul 12, 2010 2:25 PMA great day with fellow runners/volunteers on the local trails!
Jul 12, 2010 3:45 PMIt was completing the race as if I had not done that I would have been very disappointed but the volunteer support and interaction were so important too and I had underestimated how good it made you feel along the way.
Jul 12, 2010 4:41 PMblowing up and having nicepeople to help
Jul 12, 2010 9:00 PMFinishing for the tenth time!
Jul 12, 2010 9:05 PMsense of accomplishment but in a very fun, community way.
Jul 12, 2010 9:29 PMcompleting the race in good time on great trails!
Jul 12, 2010 10:23 PMMy running partner's and my team of friends who came to cheer us on throughout the whole course - amazing!!!
Jul 12, 2010 11:05 PMAll the above.
Jul 12, 2010 11:11 PMthere is no way to choose one best experience. For day's after the event I go over the race in my head and think of different things. The volunteers mostly though!
Jul 13, 2010 1:42 AMI didn't cramp.
Jul 13, 2010 1:50 AMUnfortunately I could not race due to injury.
Jul 13, 2010 1:59 AMDid not race
Jul 13, 2010 5:31 AMI did not run. Ironically, it was the repeated training runs on the course that made me decide not to participate. The rocks and roots really wear on you and do not make for enjoyable running.
Jul 13, 2010 3:41 PMDidn't run as was injured.
Jul 13, 2010 4:43 PMI lvoe everything about the race. The view a top Black mtn is worth the whole run. I love coming down cypress and I love the cleveland dam cheer station. the road up grouse is fun because of the looks you get from people. Finish line is awesome.... lots of people and cold ocean water/massages!
Jul 14, 2010 4:42 AMI can't separate the training from the race. I do most of my training on the BP trails and have my favourite bits. Its a pleasure when the trining makes the race goes better and a pain when you know you haven't done enough.
Jul 14, 2010 7:58 PMALL of the above
Jul 14, 2010 9:14 PMALL OF THE ABOVE - I can't pick one - This was an Adventure from start to finish :0)
Jul 21, 2010 3:48 PMIt was all of the above! I met and reconnected with people; the volunteers were so encouraging; the sense of acomplishment that I completed all the training PLUS the race! The adrenalin hasn't stopped pumping!
