Important Knee Knacker Update – Parking at the Start

Hello Kneeknackerers.  It was good to see many of you tonight and I’m looking forward to seeing the rest of you tomorrow!  Remember, if you haven’t picked up your packet by 7pm tomorrow, you’re not in the run!  You also need to check in with us Sat. AM so we have an accurate count of who’s on course – we take this very seriously and our sweeps and North Shore Search and Rescue will come looking for you if we can’t track you at a checkpoint!

Please note that this year, we will NOT have the use of the Kiewit parking lot near the Start as we have in previous years. This is going to make for some traffic congestion, so I strongly encourage you to consider taking one of the free shuttles from Deep Cove (4:35am, 4:45am and 4:55am).  If you’re unable to take a shuttle and will be dropped off or park at the start, remember to leave extra time to park up the road and potentially walk quite a ways.  Don’t forget it’s a residential area, and not all neighbours will be as interested in being awake at 5am as we will be.

Course briefing tomorrow is at 7pm, and we’ll be available to answer any questions you have.
