It’s less than two weeks before the BIG DAY. Here are the details for the 2009 Knee Knack­er­ing North Shore Trail Run Cel­e­bra­tion Banquet

RSVP NEEDED

  • If you’re a vol­un­teer, please RSVP to your cap­tain or co-ordinator by Monday, July 6.
  • If you’re a runner, please RSVP by Wednes­day, July 8. Also indi­cate if you’ll need any guest tickets.

BANQUET VENUE AND DIRECTIONS

For the fifth con­sec­u­tive year, the ban­quet will be held at:

Park­gate Com­mu­nity Centre
3625 Banff Court
North Van­cou­ver, BC

Loca­tion Directions:

The Awards Ban­quet will be held at Park­gate Com­mu­nity Centre (3625 Banff Court, North Van­cou­ver). Below are detailed direc­tions and maps to get there from the Finish Line in Deep Cove (actu­ally Honey’s Dough­nuts at 4373 Gal­lant Avenue).

EVENT TIMES (Sat­ur­day, July 11)

    5:15 PM — Ban­quet hall and cash bar open.
    6:00 PM — Dinner ser­vice starts.
    7:15 PM – Dinner ser­vice ends.
    7:00 PM — Awards pre­sen­ta­tion starts.
    9:30 PM – Fin­ished, until next year!

Tommy’s Cater­ing wil serve a buffet style dinner. There are three entrée options, but you’ll only select one when you’re at the buffet sta­tion. Please note that there is only a lim­ited quan­tity of entrees—once an item is gone, that’s it! For dessert, we have treats from Sweet Arts Bakery, which our vol­un­teers will serve to each table.

COST
If you’re a vol­un­teer, you will receive a com­pli­men­tary ban­quet ticket from your cap­tain or the co-ordinator respon­si­ble for your area.

If you’re a runner, you are admit­ted at no charge.  Your runner’s com­pli­men­tary ban­quet ticket will be in your race pack­age.  You MUST pick up your pack­age and reg­is­ter during Race Packet Pickup & Reg­is­tra­tion on Thurs­day (July 9) or Friday (July 10) at North Shore Athletics.

Runner’s guest tick­ets can be reserved in advance when you RSVP. Your guest tick­ets will be ready for pur­chase and pick up at Packet Pickup. Guest tick­ets cost:

- Adult: $15
- Chil­dren ages 5–16: $10
- Kids under 5: $5

A lim­ited number of extra guest tick­ets may be avail­able for pur­chase at Packet Pickup and at the Banquet.
