“The final 2 1/2 km is probably the longest 2 1/2 km in any ultra I have done. Having already covered the better part of the three North Shore mountains, you can hear the finish line announcer and you finally believe “you’re almost there”….but like a bad dream, the trail keeps throwing another hill and another turn at you. The saving grace was the endless line of spectators that cheered us through forest…..a real Rock Star moment!”…Glenn Pacé, 7 times Knee Knacker finisher.
