Hello Knee Knacker Ultra-trailrunners, Volunteers and Guests! It’s less than one month before the BIG DAY. Here are the details for the 2008 Knee Knackering North Shore Trail Run Celebration Banquet: RSVP NEEDED BY JULY 7If you're a volunteer, please RSVP to your station's captain or your co-ordinator by Monday, July 7, 2008. If you prefer a VEGETARIAN meal, please indicate that in your RSVP. If you're a runner, please RSVP by Monday, July 7, 2008, indicating how many will be attending and if you prefer or require a VEGETARIAN meal. EVENT TIMES (Saturday, July 12, 2008)For 2008, dinner service starts at 5:30pm. This is earlier than in past years so please arrive on time! (Dinner service will end at 6:45pm which is also earlier than usual, so don’t be late!)
MENUCritics Choice Caterers will, once again, serve an amazing buffet style dinner. There are two menu options (choose one) for your dining pleasure: meat and seafood, or vegetarian. For dessert, we have petit fours from Sweet Art Bakery.
COSTIf you're a volunteer, you will receive a complimentary banquet ticket from your station's captain or the co-ordinator responsible for your area. If you're a runner, you are admitted at no charge. Your runner’s complimentary banquet ticket will be in your race package. You MUST pick up your package and register during Race Packet Pickup & Registration on Thursday (July 10) or Friday (July 11) at North Shore Athletics. Runner's guest tickets can be reserved in advance when you RSVP. Your guest tickets will be ready for purchase and pick up at Packet Pickup. (Unlike in past years, there are no complimentary guest tickets.) Guest tickets cost:
- Adult: $15 Depending on demand, a limited number of extra guest tickets may be available for purchase at Packet Pickup and at the Banquet. I look forward to getting your RSVP by July 7, 2008. Have a great Knee Knacker day!
