This is it - less than 24 hours to go until the start of the race! And it looks like it could be a warm one. But, you never know as the forecast seems to be changing at least twice daily this week! The latest weather forecast is currently calling for sunny with cloudy periods, and a high of 27 C (80 F), except 23 C (73 F) near the water.

Check out the Trail Marking report for some words and pictures of the trail conditions in the high country from Tuesday night. If you're worried about a little bit of mud and snow, don't! Remember, you can put a fresh pair of socks and/or shoes in your drop bag that we will take to Cleveland Dam for you. After the race, you are welcome to use the shower and change facilities at Parkgate Community Centre. There is small charge for this, payable at the front desk. Please remember not to track any of the mud into the facility!

The race committee will be immersed in pre-race activities today, and with the race itself tomorrow. We will be available at packet pickup and registration this evening at North Shore Athletics. If you can't get a hold of us during the day today, please seek us out tonight.

Our main goal on Saturday is to help each and every one of you successfully achieve your goal. Immediately after the race ends at 4:00 p.m., we go into "final preparation" mode for the Awards Banquet that starts at 5:30pm. Every attempt will be made to post the results at this site later that evening, before midnight (hopefully).
